Wayne Morecombe

Wayne was born with the squeeze box bleating in his ears – that's why he plays the guitar. Born in Lahr, Germany, Wayne travelled on the RCAF dime to many different bases, eventually winding up on Civvy Street in Tsawwassen, BC. It was here that Wayne found his love of the stringed sirens when he started playing metal tunes with his high school band, Tequila Sunrise. Many summers were spent in New Brunswick and Newfoundland with relatives and he always wanted to fuse the traditional music from the east coast with the Rock and Roll that he played.  A lovely girl from Newfoundland let him listen to her CDs, and the solution began to present itself.  He became a diligent student of traditional music and today enjoys fusing his stringed skills, vocals and quick wit with KeelHaul. Wayne also plays bass with traditional band, the Streels.

Sue Garnier

Born to Newfoundlanders in Trenton, Ontario, Sue was raised with the Newfie Bullet practising in the living room and kitchen parties more often than not.  Her love of the images in her head led her to pick up a bodhrán and hit the road with KeelHaul.  While she may arrange for her vocal mike to be turned down on occasion, her drum mike can usually be found cranked.  Sue dreams of the fiddle, but for now she bangs away on the drum, strums a mandolin and assists on vocals.

Dave Morecombe

Born in St. John`s, Newfoundland, Dave left the Rock at 17, joining the RCAF.  His travels through Europe and the US of A allowed him to wow audiences with the sweet sounds of the squeeze box.  Dave brings a wealth of experience and C and G boxes to the band. Understanding that there's only so much that can be done in those 2 keys, Dave has recently added D and A to his key selection.
